Bioport Crosslink 2% Bioport Crosslink 2% it’s a medical device for infiltration, indicated as viscolelastic supplement or as replacement for the synovial fluid in the knee joint and for the symptomatic treatment of mild to severe knee osteoarthritis.
It protects the cartilage and decreases the inflammatory activity, improving joint mobility and providing pain relief.
Characteristics of Bioport:
- It’s a sterile, viscoelastic solution containing two highly purified cross-linked biological polymers – hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate.
- It consists of acid hyaluronic derived from bacterial fermentation of a Streptococcus strain and chondroitin sulfate produced from bovine cartilage.
- Hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate assemble into a physical cross-linking, ensuring greater stability and long-term durability of the product.
- Average molecular weight 3 MDa
