Promovia, hyaluronic acid for injections

Promovia is a medical device for hyaluronic acid based injection suitable for people with degenerative diseases or diseases which manifest in joint pain or reduced mobility due to a post-traumatic condition.
Promovia substitutes the synovial fluid and restores the physiological and rheological properties of the compromised joints.

Characteristics of Promovia:
This is a pre-filled intra-articular syringe with a sterile and buffered non-pyrogen solution of hyaluronic acid sodium salt highly purified with a constant molecular weight between 1,000 and 1,500 kiloDaltons which allows for perfect spreading within the cartilaginous cell.
It is obtained through fermentation from Streptococcus Equi and this ensures absolute purity, reducing the risks of allergens, inflammatory reactions, and painful swelling during injection to a minimum.
Available packaging of hyaluronic acid for injection:
Each package contains a single, pre-filled, disposable syringe.
It is produced in 4 different concentrations:
- 24 mg in 2 ml of hyaluronic acid solution at 1.2%
- 40 mg in 2 ml of hyaluronic acid solution at 2%
- 60 mg in 4 ml of hyaluronic acid solution at 1.5%
- 80 mg in 4 ml of hyaluronic acid solution at 2%.
